Billy Joe was my first cousin. His father, Bill, and my father, Dave, were brothers. I remember when I was growing up in Prichard, AL, (Mobile area) my family would visit my Uncle Bill and Aunt Ginny at least once a year usually. I always loved going to visit them along with my other Uncle H.D. and Aunt Betty Rae, who lived across the street, and my Aunt Izee and Uncle Alex, who lived next door to Bill and Ginny to the right across a field. I always enjoyed going to visit them, because they lived in the country, and they always had great food we all got together to eat. I often think of these days, and I remember that Billy Joe and Jerry were always involved in sports - it seems that they loved baseball. I will always have very fond memories of Billy Joe, and I wished we had made time for visits in recent years. My condolences to his children, grandchildren, and great grand children.
