Graveside memorial services for Mr. Randall “Randy” Eugene Mitchell are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Lisa Mayo and Pastor Nat Barnett officiating.
Mr. Mitchell, a retiree from International Paper Company, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at the age of sixty-six. He worked in the Pulp Mill as a Control Room operator for thirty-five years. Mr. Mitchell was born on August 5, 1956, and lived in Bastrop most of his life and eventually moved to Monroe, LA. He enjoyed sitting outside on his porch watching the birds and his dogs, that recently passed away. Mr. Mitchell enjoyed his time with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, also having cookouts with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie Mitchell; daughters, Lisa Eppinette and husband, Malcolm, Priscilla Mayo and husband, Jason, Donna Rainwater and husband, Joe, Jr, and Brandy LeBrun; sons, James Sharbono, and Charles Sharbono; brother, Will Mitchell; grandchildren, Hannah Turnbow, Clay Turnbow, Jerry Eppinette, Kayla Eppinette, Chyenne Mayo, Jaycee Mayo, Trey Rainwater, Ryder Rainwater, Trisha Fleming, Skylar Cable, Emily Sharbono, and Charles Sharbono, Jr; and special friend, Roy Anderson.
Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Millie Mitchell; grandparents; sister, Sharon Mitchell; and good friend, Billy Eppinette.
