Funeral services for Mr. Todd Rainbolt, age 55, are scheduled for 2pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Golden Funeral Home with Brother Joey Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until service time. Mr. Rainbolt, a resident of Bastrop, passed away surrounded by his family, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, after a brief illness. Todd was an avid hunter and fisherman, having spent many of his best days on Lake Enterprise with his family. He was also known for his passion for cooking, with his happiest times spent in the backyard, grilling and surrounded by friends and family. Todd never met a stranger; he was the truest definition of “friend” and had the most generous heart. Above all, Todd’s greatest accomplishment was the title of papa. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and there was absolutely nothing he loved more than the time he was able to spend with each of them. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Ann Rainbolt; mother, Kathleen Cupples; daughters, Heather DeShazo (Adam), Brittanie Rainbolt, Tiffany Heilers (David); sisters, Karen Williams (Timothy), Teresa House (Bill); step-sisters, Kendra McKoin and Erika Blissett (Brandon); brothers, Brian Rainbolt (Holley), Doug Rainbolt (Alice), Donnie Paxton (Misty); grandchildren, Jordyn Albertie, Brandon Rainbolt, Aiden DeShazo, Chloe DeShazo, Asher DeShazo, Kalii Ramirez, Zoe Heilers, and Junior Heilers. Todd is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews that he held close to his heart. Todd is preceeded in death by his father, Gary Rainbolt; step-father, Kenneth Cupples, step-mother, Wanda Rainbolt and Theresa Rainbolt. Our family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the extraordinary team of men and women of the Saint Francis Medical Center 6th Floor ICU Unit. Dr. Kamm, Dr. Smith, Dr. Zavala, Dr. Rickman, Dr. P. Smith, nurses: Jessica W., Scott W., Paulina, Amy L., Zach, Robin, Caitlyn, Cindy, Stacie, Caleb, Dwana, Halie, Keana, Josh, John, and Kathy, Respiratory: Mike M., – these men and women treated Todd with the upmost respect and dignity, and graciously took care of our family’s every need, and we are eternally grateful.
