Mrs. Jones was born on September 4, 1929, in Winnsboro, LA. She went to be with her Lord on February 2, 2023.
She was a long time member of the First Apostolic Church. Mrs. Jones loved cooking, coloring and word find puzzles. She was a wonderful spiritual lady and has filled gaping holes in everyone’s heart with her prayers throughout everyone’s life. Her strength and fortitude have been a beacon! Her faith was nothing short of a spiritual gift making her prayers so powerful. She took in the orphans in her life and loved them as her own. She fed you, loved you and prayed for you. Love and prayers-That’s two of life’s most precious gifts and she had an abundance of both, and she gave freely. Her influences pivoted the direction of many toward God and we are eternally grateful! We pray we can be even half the person she was. We know she has woken up in heaven, no longer suffering. Heaven is so much sweeter with her in its presence. Giving honor to the godly, prayer warrior she was. We will never say goodbye, but we will see you again.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters, Brenda Jones Carruth of Bastrop, LA, Barbara Jo Oser and husband, James Prologo of Palm Harbor, FL; son, Harmon H.
