Funeral services for Shirley Dalrymple, age eighty-six, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 21 at Loch Arbor Baptist Church, with Bro. William Sikes officiating. Interment will be at Providence Cemetery in Roxie, MS at 3:00 PM.
Shirley was a retired third grade school teacher, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She was welcomed into her eternal home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 17, 2023. It was on this day she was delivered from the bondage of Alzheimer’s Disease.
This outgoing lady loved her family dearly. She also loved to go fishing and taking Sunday afternoon rides. Her family will greatly miss her feisty moments and the genuine love she showed us all.
Mrs. Dalrymple is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Robert Dalrymple, Sr; her father and mother, Albert and Sally Lee; two sisters, Marie Lee Morgan and Janie Lee McKinney; and a brother, Buddy Lee.
She is survived by three children, Vic Dalrymple and wife, May Ellen, Freda Dalrymple, Scott Dalrymple and wife, Claudette; five grandchildren, Robby Dalrymple and wife, Courtney, Boyd Dalrymple and wife, Ashley, Derrick Bedenbender and wife, Shelley, Dana Thompson and husband, David, Tiffany Simons and husband, Adam; seven great grandchildren, Macey Easterling and husband, Shade, Griffin Dalrymple, Bo Dalrymple, Brock Dalrymple, Brayden Bedenbender, Wyatt McCullough, and Lane Thompson; two great great grandchildren, Hudson Easterling, and Hallie Kate Easterling; two sisters, Donnie O’Bannon and Delores Wimberly; two brothers, Danny Lee and Jerry Lee; and many nieces and nephews.
