Obituary of Dana Michelle Goleman

Funeral services for Dana Michelle Goleman, age 46, of Bastrop are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Bastrop United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Dwight Fulton and Rev. Jamie Blume officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the church. Dana, a member of the Bastrop United Pentecostal Church, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023. As a young adult, she loved working with the children in the Sunday School department. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite people called her DeDe. As her health declined, she was cared for by her mother and aunt, Wendy Day. She is survived by her mother, Sandra Goleman; sister, Lara Goleman; brother, Shane Goleman and wife, Hannah; one niece, Hadley Goleman; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Goleman; grandparents, Alfred and Billie Gregory, and James Sr. and Evon Goleman. Serving as pallbearers are: Brandon Chappell, Nicholas Day, Cody Gregory, Steven Gregory, Jason McKoin, and Caleb Ragsdale.
