Obituary of Marsha Dianne McLean McIntyre

Funeral services for Marsha Dianne McLean McIntyre are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home in Bastrop, Louisiana, with Bro. Andy Myrick officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. service time. Marsha Dianne McLean McIntyre was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world suddenly on July 15, 2023, at the age of 75. She was born to Rev. Leonard and Christine McLean on December 17, 1947. After graduating from high school, Marsha married Kary Wayne McIntyre, who predeceased her after many happy years of marriage. Together, they had 3 children, Alan, Kim, and Michael, who loved her very much. She had a beautiful sister, Barbara McLean Moore, and a talented brother, Edwin McLean. She leaves behind her beloved five grandchildren, Christian, Eric, Jason, Alex, and Connor, and several nieces and nephews. Marsha loved her family, her church, and all of her many friends very much and would do just about anything for anyone. Most of all, she loved Jesus, and there is no doubt where she will be spending eternity. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Oak Hill Baptist Church, Bardell Bostick, and Roger McIntyre.
