With me not living in town any longer I didn't know Shelby passed. I would have been there. What sweet memories I have and the great and funny times I shared with all of you. Especially Shelby the prankster. I will never forget you or my bestie Camille. May God bless this family that I love so much. Til we meet again.....

Uncle Shelby was always the life of the party! His laugh was infectious! I remember many holidays and times of family get-togethers where he had everyone in the room laughing! He will be greatly missed by us all! I pray for the Lord to comfort Aunt Kathryn and all the rest of the family. I love you all! Leigh Steele Lambert

My heartfelt condolences to my friend, Cheryl, Mrs. Carter, and all the family members of Mr. Shelby. I enjoyed reading about his life, and personality, his love for music, and his artistic talent. He had a very good reputation. I know his presence among his family and friends will be greatly missed. Prayers for today and all your tomorrows. Jana Faulkenbury Cannon

Charlie and I are saddened to learn about Shelby's passing. We always enjoyed running into him around Bastrop occassionally. He always had a cheerful smile and a good word to share. I know he will be greatly missed. God bless you all during this most difficult time.
