Funeral services for Georgia B. Hennington Walker Williams are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, August 14, 2023, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 5 PM - 8 PM at Goldens. Mrs. Williams, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the age of eighty. She was of the Baptist faith and loved quilting, sewing, and watching shopping networks. Mrs. Williams loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, and was known for being sassy and spirited! She also enjoyed flower gardening and watching the birds around her bird houses. Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughters, Sharon Walker of Jones, LA, and Leslie Wyatt and husband, Robert, of Bastrop, LA; son, Steven Walker and wife, Kim, of Bastrop, LA; sister, Annette Starkweather of San Antonio, TX; brother, Thomas Hennington and wife, Dixie, of Downsville, LA; grandchildren, Jeffery Walker, Matthew Walker, Zache Walker and wife, Brittany, Eric Walker, Ray Caffery, Jennifer Walker and husband, Tavarris, William Tyler Walker, Veronica Lingefelt and husband, Jerry, Miranda Wyatt, and Heather Lynn and husband, Colton; great grandchildren, Logan Walker, Emmerson Walker, Troy Pinkerton, Emilee Walker, Elliot Walker, Trentyn Smith, Treyson Smith, Baxton Walker, Ayden Lingefelt, Mason Lingefelt, Braylie Jordan, Sophia Lynn, Braxton Lynn; and first husband and the father of her children, Buddy Walker. She is preceded in death by her parents, W.B. and Fanny Hennington; husband, James “Buddy” Williams; daughter, Frances “Lynne” Walker; brother, Billy Hennington; and sisters, Eva Doris Wyatt and Nell Pisano. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Walker, Zache Walker, Ray Caffery, Ayden Lingefelt, Mason Lingefelt, Jerry Lingefelt, Colton Lynn, and Tyler Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Walker and Jeffery Walker
