Funeral services for Mrs. Joan M. Winnon are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, August 28, 2023, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Gambill officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, prior to the service, beginning at 9 AM.
Mrs. Winnon, a member of First Baptist Church, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at the age of eighty-five. She loved to quilt, read, and square dance! Mrs. Winnon worked in the Morehouse Parish School system as a paraprofessional for many years. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be greatly missed!
Mrs. Winnon is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Wilmore, Jacque Burchfield and husband, Billy; sons, Jeff Wilmore and wife, Debbie, Kelly Winnon and wife, Nancy, Jeff Winnon and wife, Mariah, Jarred Wilmore and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Lindzay Delaney, Brannon Smith, Emily Wilmore, Holly Blom, Caroline Hughes, Morgan Eppinette, Haleigh Hatley, Clay Thomas Winnon, Jourdan Ford, Drake Wilmore; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jean Bradford and Alfred Klein; husband, George Winnon; sister, Delores Fisette; and brother, Alfred Klein, Jr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brayden Spigner, Brian Eppinette, Abram Anthony, Chris Delaney, Troy Bryan, and Landon Brown.
