Funeral service for Mrs. Vera Bostick Kelly, age 76, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Arrant and Bro. Dennis Hackler officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, November 3, from 5 PM until 7 PM at Goldens.
Mrs. Kelly, beloved wife and mother, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was a devoted, long-time member of Central Church of Christ and most recently, Naff Avenue Church of Christ. Her greatest joys were her church, her husband, and her family.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Woodrow Kelly; daughter, Amy Lemmons and husband Bryce of Byram, MS; son, Jason Henry and wife Brandi of Patterson, LA; sisters, Laurie Merritt and husband John of Monroe, LA, Sherry Bostick Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA; brothers, Charles Ray Bostick of Bastrop, LA, Phillip Ray Bostick and wife Glenda of Searcy, AR; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Kelly is preceded in death by her father, Phillip Ray Bostick; her mother, Mary Christine Bostick Boone; and stepfather, David Boone.
Serving as pallbearers will be Hunter Kelly, Hollis Kelly, Ryan Kelly, Ralph Jones, Jeff Maxwell, and Olly Hughes.
