Obituary of Billy Joe Blocker

Mr. Billy Joe Blocker, a retired Insurance Agent, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at the age of seventy-five. He was a resident of Bastrop, LA and member of Bonne Idee Assembly of God Church. Mr. Blocker was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman, but closest to his heart was his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Karen Blocker; daughter, Sabrina Blocker of Bastrop, LA; son, Roger Blocker, and wife, Lisa of Bastrop, LA; sister, Linda Haynes of Baton Rouge, LA; brothers, James Blocker and wife, Dollie of Dermott, AR, Jesse Blocker of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Ethan Tully, and Caleb Blocker. Mr. Blocker is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Blocker; mother, Violet Blocker; siblings, Gerald Blocker, Charlene Johnson, and Lloyd Blocker; and stepson, Adam Robinson.
