Obituary of Bobby Allen Brown

Funeral services for Bobby Allen Brown are scheduled for 3 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Hughes Chapel Church, with Bro. Eric Newnum officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday, December 4, 2023, from 5 PM - 7 PM at the church. Bobby Allen Brown, a retired Instrument Technician, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the age of fifty-six. He gave his life to the Lord in November of 2022, and was baptized with his granddaughter. He was a member of Hughes Chapel Church where he also served as the groundskeeper. Bobby was a friend, father figure, brother, son, and an amazing husband. If you knew Bobby, you knew when hunting season comes around, don’t come down the driveway during Prime Time. He loved to hunt and fish. He loved hanging out with his friends, and enjoyed throwing just about anything: darts, horseshoes, cornhole, baseball, or even little pieces of paper in his buddies’ coffee in the morning. Bobby was a jokester, always picking on someone. He was a great friend, always there when someone needed him. Bobby was a hard worker and always made sure his family was taken care of. He adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He loved the little piece of paradise he called home, and he loved his wife of twenty-seven years and the life they built together. He also loved his best friend Trigger who was his constant companion and went everywhere with him. Bobby is survived by his wife, Crystal Cliburn Brown; father, Dewey Allen Brown; son, Allen-Michael Brown; sister, Pamela Delony; grandchildren, Tanner Bryant Williams, Joshua Allen Keatan Little, Josey Claire Marie Brown, Vayda Rae Brown, and Gunner Allen Brown; niece, Brandy Bayless; nephew, Shannon Bayless; uncle, James “Bo” Brown; aunt, Molly Galloway; cousins, Dennis Galloway and Allen Lane Galloway; forever daughter-in-love and best friend, Rachel Little Brown; and his loyal companion, Trigger. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Shopher Brown; grandparents, Dewey and Earline Brown and Olan and Francis Shopher. Serving as pallbearers are: Roy Mashburn, Cody Hawthorne, Booger Gray, Jamie Harris, Tanner Williams and James Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be: Kevin Kelly, Kolten Waters, Randy Rogers, Keatan Little and Bubba Cliburn.
