Obituary of Sharon Ruth Wells Harris

Memorial funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Ruth Wells Harris are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, December 18, 2023, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Charles McLean officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 AM. Mrs. Harris, a resident of Mer Rouge, LA, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the age of seventy-four. She was employed with Holsam Bakery for many years. Mrs. Harris loved her Lord and Savior, and was an avid prayer warrior. She loved her sweet yorkie, Zoey, and was a fan of Elvis. Mrs. Harris even had an Elvis Facebook Fan Page. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those that knew her. Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, Kerry Cleveland Harris; daughter, Kelly Witcher Griffin; sons, Scott William Witcher and Jason William Witcher; grandchildren, Brittany Christian Ramirez, and husband Joel, Savannah Brooke Witcher, Joeb William Witcher, Jacob William Witcher, Hannah Witcher, and Isabelle Griffin; great-grandchildren, Nickolas Ramirez and Sofia Ramirez. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Louis Wells and Mildred Graves Wells.
