Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Jean Gregory are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Mrs. Gregory, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the age of eighty one. She loved flowers and spending time in her yard. Survivors include her children, Nita Gandy and husband Robbie of Bastrop, LA, Lisa Cheramie of Bastrop, LA; son, David Smith and wife Martha of Fayetteville, AR; siblings, Virginia Townsend of Tallulah, LA, Catherine Self of Bastrop, LA, Rita Nelson of Florida, Brenda Riels and husband Douglas of Bastrop, La, Louis Gregory and wife Jerri of Poplarville, MS; six grandchildren, Thomas Dreher, Celeste Dreher, Whitney Hoff, Hunter Gandy, Dylan Gandy, Matthew Gandy; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Gregory is preceded in death by her son, Doug Smith; parents, George and Dovie Gregory; siblings, Charlene Hall, L.D. Gregory, George Gregory, James Gregory, Robert Gregory, Alfred Gregory, Ernest Gregory and Edward Gregory.
