We met Mr. Gene and Mrs. LV, thru my sister and Brother in law, Charles and Jennie Burns. We became Bluegrass Festival Buddies but more than that we became Family. We adopted Mr. Gene fondly as our Bluegrass Dad! We had many happy years "Blue grassin". Mr. Gene was full of his fun. He almost successfully had me convinced that his poodle, Taffy was a bonifived "Bluegrass Hound"! He was a Sweetheart and will be missed! My love and prayers go to Ms. L.V and the family. What a beautiful tribute to Gene! I had the opportunity to visit with Gene and LV in their home in Tyler. I was treated like royalty. They are sweet precious people. I will Always remember the time I spent there. LV, I truly loved spending time with you and Gene. You have a beautiful home and Tyler. I will always pray for you and your family. I wish you the best as you move forward without Gene. Hugs and kisses coming your way!
