Obituary of Jackie David Swartz

Memorial services for Mr. Jackie D. Swartz, age 69, are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, January 29, 2024, at Golden Funeral Home with Bro Tim Post officiating. Mr. Swartz, a retiree of the Morehouse Parish Police Jury and previous Constable of Ward 2, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He loved his Lord and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and riding his “trike”. Alayna Gregory and Ty Larkin Gregory were the apple of his eye. He is survived by his former wife and special friend, Barbara Swartz; sister, Peggy Swartz Orrell and husband Ronnie; grandchildren, Alayna Gregory and Ty Larkin Gregory; niece, Krissy Orrell; nephew, Scott Orrell; and great-nephew, Zach Kalas. Mr. Swartz is preceded in death by his parents.
