Earline Brown, a former resident of Bastrop, LA, and current resident of Watson, LA, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the age of ninety-seven. She was a former member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church and had retired as a Vice President of Bastrop National Bank after thirty-seven years of service. Great memories through the years were created with her family. She loved and stayed close to her parents, her siblings, nieces and nephews, and her extended family by marriage over the years. Earline loved serving her community helping her customers and coworkers for so many years at the bank. Always active in her church, she served at different periods of her life in the choir, teaching Sunday School, working with young adults, or the youth. The past two and a half years living with her daughter and family, Earline became a beloved member of the Ladies Joy Sunday School Class and the Thursday Ladies Bible Study Prayer Group at Amite Baptist Church. She touched lives wherever she lived or served, and her sweet smile will truly be missed here on earth.
