Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah L. Turnbow are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, March 11, 2024, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, prior to the service, beginning at 8:30 AM. Mrs. Turnbow, a resident of West Monroe, LA, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at the age of sixty-two. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, puzzles, thrift shopping, and going to yard sales. Mrs. Turnbow worked at Morehouse General Hospital for many years as a CNA, and was of the Baptist Faith. She loved her family dearly, even her sweet dogs, Kalisee and Angel, and she will be missed by all those who knew her! Mrs. Turnbow is survived by her daughters, Brandie Van, and husband William, of West Monroe, LA, Kellie Evans, and husband Derrick, of Bastrop, LA, Tiffany Strickland, and husband Tim, of Greenville, MS, Amber Caples of Warren, AR, and Joy Latta, and husband John, of Warrren, AR; sister, Donna Batson, and husband Robert, of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Terry Thomas, and wife Bertie, of Bastrop, LA, and Frank Smith, Jr., and wife Mellisa, of Western Grove, AR; grandchildren, Annie Young, Gary Young, Jr., William Turnbow, Floyd Van, Adam Stephens, Austin Stephens, Ryleigh Strickland, Makinzee Strickland, as well as many other dearly loved grandchildren; one great-grandchild, Hudson Young; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Lonnie Turnbow; daughter, Chasity Young; father, Alex Thomas; mother, Gladys Smith; step-father, Frank Smith; sister, Janet Smith; and dear friend, Ricky Smith. Serving as pallbearers will be William Van, Derrick Evans, Floyd Van, William Turnbow, Daniel Thomas, Gary Young, Jr. and Michael Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Grider, Patrick McGrew, and Hunter Holland.
