I am saddened to hear of Barbara’s passing. She was my first supervisor when I became an independent adjuster over 30 years ago, and I was very fortunate to have had her train me. She was not only my coworker, but she became like a family member to me and my children, as I had just moved to Shreveport with no family members here.
She baked the best bread I have ever tasted, and was always willing to share her “starter dough” with others.
I only have the fondest memories of Barbara.

It doesn’t seem possible Barbara is gone. My Louisiana insurance career started with Barbara 16 years ago and I enjoyed every minute with her. She was a teacher, a mentor, and a true friend. She was funny, feisty, and fiercely independent. She never lost her spark! She would talk so lovingly of all of her people that I felt like I knew them -- Billy, Greg, Sandy, Joyce. She was so proud of her boys and always talked about the sweet texts, emails, and calls they sent her making her feel so loved. While it is reassuring to know she was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, she just leaves behind so many people that loved her near and far. We are all better for having known and loved Barbara. May you find comfort in her wonderful memories.

Barbara was a wonderful person, friend, and co-worker. Prayers for her family. She talked about you all the time and loved you so much. She will be truly missed.

Barbara was my assistant claims manager at Deep South. She was outstanding assistant, colleague, and dear friend. She was very dedicated employee and teacher who was always ready help with anything in the claims department. My prayers are with Barbara’s family. May her precious soul be brought into the light and join of her Savior in Paradise.
