Memorial funeral services for Mr. Lowell “Bill” Moffit are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, April 5, 2024, in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Moffit passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the age of seventy-seven. He was a third-generation truck driver, having driven for twenty-five years. Mr. Moffit served his country during the Vietnam War, he was also an avid member of the VFW Hall 1809. Mr. Moffit enjoyed telling jokes, that being said he knew every “Dad” joke that was ever told.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Moffit; children, Heather Velasqeuz and husband, Sergio, Dawn Harper and husband, Chad, William Moffit and wife, Gina, Kelly Lowery and husband, Ryan, Randy Moffit and wife, Raven; grandchildren, Jeri Harrington and husband, Garrett, Austin Harper and Michelle, Cammren Lowery, Kaci Lowery, Weston Moffit, Kaeleigh Lowery, Logan Moffit, Donovan Evans, Billy Heaton, Krista Heaton, Lilly Moffit, Jayla McLemore, Anna Velasqeuz, Cason Lowery, Creed Lowery; great grandchildren, Stetson Harrington, Landri Harrington, Jasper Lowery, Spencer Harper, Gentry Harrington, Esmae Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Moffit is preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Wesley Moffit and Clara LeClaire.
His grandsons will serve the family as pallbearers.
