Funeral Services for Mrs. Nellie B. Parrott Gardner, age 93, will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Ezra Cook officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, April 15, 2024, from 5 PM until 7 PM at Goldens.
Mrs. Gardner was a dedicated and loving homemaker who loved to cook. She was an animal lover, who loved her dogs and cats. Bird watching and working in her flower beds were two of her favorite pastimes.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda J. Gardner; sisters, Betty J. Parrott Jones and husband, Johnny Mack, Donna E. Warren Buels and husband, Kenneth.
Mrs. Gardner is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, J.T. Gardner Jr.; parents, Gertha Hughes Parrott and Walter Earl Parrott; sisters, Bebe June Bell, Mary Earlean Bolin; brother, Bobby K. Parrott.
Honorary pallbearers are William Warren, Johnny Mack Jones and Craig Jones.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Mary Ellen Kennedy and the staff of Premier Hospice.
