Lori Dawn Musgrove Couture, age fifty-three, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lori was a retired flight attendant for Southwest Airlines, where she received an impactful award for her “Winning” spirit, which recognizes employees for making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church and was known for her contagious smile, giving nature, and passion for Christ. She dedicated her life to her husband, children, and grandchild, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her husband, Ken Couture; parents, Stephen “Butch” and Dottie Musgrove; daughter, Nikki Riedie and husband, Shane; son, Cody Tomboli and wife, Karen; brothers, Greg Musgrove and wife, Terri, Tim Musgrove and wife, Melissa, and Todd Musgrove and wife, Dana; grandson, Carter Drew Tomboli; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Evelyn Couture; special “sister” cousins, Carla, Janet, Kathy, and Amy; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Couture is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Velma Chain and Jake and Zola Mae Musgrove. Services to honor and celebrate the life of Lori are scheduled for 11 AM, Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Bethel Baptist Church, (14489 Crossett Rd. Bastrop) with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 9 AM. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Kevin Chain, Jim Hardy Chain, Heath Allen Chain, Andy Richards, Joel Murphy, and Jeremy Richard. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” -2 Timothy 4:7
