Obituary of Leota Dell Beard

Funeral services for Leota Dell Beard, age 84, of El Dorado, AR, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Beard, a nurse and caretaker, passed away, Friday, May 10, 2024. She was the matriarch of the family and was very sassy and out spoken. She also enjoyed cooking. Mrs. Beard is survived by her children, Angela Fulmer Redding and husband Scott, Sonny Holley and wife Stephanie, Lisa Holley Tull, Ashley Wren and husband Sean; grandchildren, Eddie Woodson, Rusty Fulmer, B.W. Fulmer, Renee Fulmer, Adam Holley, Caleb Holley, Bethany Holley, Ashley Wren, Jennifer Eppinette, JudeWren, Sandler Wren, Marley Jane Wren, Dawson Harris, Gram Ramshur, Atticus Hickman, Vada Hickman, Saylor, Blakellie Harris, Abel and great grandchildren, Bailey Ramsey, Lindsay Woodson, Emalynn Fulmer, Amelia Fulmer, Anna Fulmer, Sadie Martel, Sarah Martel, William Martel, Mallori Fulmer, Sophie Fulmer, Brooklynn and Trae. She is also survived by her siblings, Vivian Estess, Susan Voss and husband Ray, Roger Jones and wife Betty and John Hopkins. Mrs. Beard is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Beard; parents, Stecile and Lizzie Jones and brothers, Robert Jones, Sammy Jones, Roy Jones and Lawrence Hopkins. Serving as pallbearers are grandsons and nephews: Jude Wren, Eddie Woodson, BW Fulmer, Rusty Fulmer, Rogie Jones and Ryan Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Wright and Russell Jones.
