Obituary of Alvin Louis DeBlieux

Mr. Alvin Louis DeBlieux, age 69, of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Mr. DeBlieux, a retired crane operator, was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 101 for forty years. He was of the Catholic faith, he loved his family, his friends, and his Lord. Mr. DeBlieux was a big LSU football fan, he enjoyed playing cards, especially, Casino, and riding horses. He also served in the Louisiana National Guard for ten years. He is survived by his daughter, Keri Neval Ness of Kansas City, MO; sons, Darcy Wayne DeBlieux and wife Lyla of Baton Rouge, LA, Donald Robert DeBlieux of Zachary, LA, Daniel Louis DeBlieux of Meade, KS; sister, Connie Sue Kennedy of Magnolia, MS and grandchildren, Buck DeBlieux, Susie DeBlieux, Violet DeBlieux, Ian DeBlieux, Isaac DeBlieux, Orin DeBlieux, Dustin DeBlieux, Alexis Long, River DeBlieux, and Brett Arntt. Mr. DeBlieux is preceded in death by his parents, Honore and Neval DeBlieux; and step-daughter, Sara Jane Spillman.
