Obituary of Cecil M. Marble

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Cecil M. Marble are scheduled for 3 PM Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in Oak Ridge Cemetery, with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Services will be under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Marble passed away Monday, June 8, 2024, at the age of seventy-six. He worked as a carpenter until his health declined, but even then would still supervise! Mr. Marble was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish with his friends. He also liked to watch western shows and enjoyed food! Mr. Marble is survived by his step-sons, Robert Palmer and Daniel Palmer; sisters, Alice Naylor and Margaret Marble; brothers, James Marble, Jr., and wife Lucille, Berryman Marble, and wife Ruthie, Jerry Marble; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Marble; parents, James “Red” and Beulah Marble; and brothers, Jesse Marble, Hughie Marble, and Paul Douglas Marble.
