Obituary of James Ray Bezzeard

Funeral services for Mr. James Ray Bezzeard will be held 2 PM Friday, August 16, 2024, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held Friday, prior to the service, beginning at 1 PM. Mr. Bezzeard passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at the age of seventy-eight. He is survived by his children, Jimmy Bezzeard, Chris Bezzeard, and wife Brandy, Melody Foshee, and husband Thomas, and Lillian Byrd; daughter-in-law, Mechell Bezzeard; sister, Dorothy Atkinson of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Larry Bezzeard of Vicksburg, MS, and Don Bezzeard of Epps, LA; sister-in-law, Judy Evans; brother-in-law, David Evans; grandchildren, Gabrielle Bezzeard, Harliegh Bezzeard, Naava Bezzeard, Talon Bezzeard and Cayden Carruth; great-grandchild, Raiden Bezzeard; and niece, Cheyenne Bezzeard. Mr. Bezzeard is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lillian Bezzeard; wife, Paula “Polly” Bezzeard; son, Jamie Bezzeard and brothers, John Bezzeard and Alfred Bezzeard.
