Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Barbara McKnight Carnahan, age 74, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Causey Cemetery with Bro. Doug Edwards and Bro. Glen Hutchison officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Saturday at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carnahan, a homemaker and member of Corinth Baptist Church, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback football fan and enjoyed attending local gospel church singings and fellowships. She also enjoyed working puzzle books and going to auction sales.
Mrs. Carnahan is survived by her daughter, Teri Baxter; brother, William “Bill” McKnight and wife Melinda; grandchildren, Hunter Baxter, Kelly Baxter, Andrew Maxwell, Loren Maxwell and wife Kathleen; and great grandchildren, Ryan Maxwell and Easton Maxwell.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Carnahan; daughter, Lisa Maxwell and parents, Curtis and Rosie McKnight.
