Obituary of Barbara Lucille Kreisher Thomas

Funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Lucille Kreisher Thomas will be held 10 AM Saturday, November 23, 2024, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Joe Hooter and Bro. Albert Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Saturday from 9 AM - 10 AM prior to the service. Mrs. Thomas, a member of New Destiny Assembly of God Church, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at the age of ninety-one. She was a prayer warrior and loved Jesus with her whole heart. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed playing the piano and often played for the church. She was a pastor’s wife and was very involved with her husband in the various ministry needs at the church. She and her husband were at churches all over the United States. Mrs. Thomas was also a wonderful mother and grandmother to her family. She is survived by her sons, Bob Thomas and wife, Debbie of Bastrop, LA, Ron Thomas and wife, Misty of Missoula, MT; sister, Lois Green and husband, Jim of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Daniel Thomas and wife, Phoebe, Brian Thomas and wife, Cicely, Tyler Thomas and wife, Lindsay, Aubrey Thomas, and Hunter Thomas; great granddaughter, Constance Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Mildred Kreisher; husband, Orville Thomas; sister, Janet Henderson; and daughter, Sherri Lynn Thomas. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Thomas, Brian Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Brendan McNeill, Joshua Bray, and Albert Collins.
