Obituary of Robert Reginald Dolan

Mr. Robert Reginald Dolan, a resident of Bastrop, was born on July 14, 1942 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in Monroe, LA, at the age of 82. Mr. Dolan is preceded in death by the love of his life, his beloved wife Odessa. He is survived by numerous friends and church members. He is known for his outgoing personality and his love for a good, long conversation. He enjoyed life and loved being around people. His love for people was only surpassed by his love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed worshiping the Lord with his church family. He has long been known for his compassionate care for grieving families, as he presented many with single, long-stemmed roses. Mr. Dolan was laid to rest in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in a private committal service with arrangements provided by Golden Funeral Home.
