Obituary of Dewayne Sharbono

Dewayne Sharbono, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the age of sixty-three. He was a professional cyclist and vice president of the Bayou Ramblers. Mr. Sharbono took pride in riding and did so passionately until his health declined. He enjoyed reading and writing, having wrote editorials for the Bastrop Daily Enterprise for several years. Mr. Sharbono loved his family dearly, and took every chance he could get to bond with his nieces and nephews. He loved watching movies, especially Star Trek and anything involving superheroes. He will be missed dearly by his family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Mr. Sharbono is survived by his sister, Karen Jenkins, and husband James; niece, Kasey Folk, and husband Tim; nephew, Jesse Sullivan, and wife Jamie; great-nieces, Megan Folk, Abigail Sullivan, Evalyn Sullivan; and great-nephews, Wyatt Folk and Baylen Sullivan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Norma Sharbono; grandparents, J.W. Sharbono and Audi Sharbono; and his precious fur baby, Honey.
Funeral services for Mr. Dewayne Sharbono will be held privately.
