Denise, I just want to express my sincere sorrow for all our loss, especially yours. He was a gem! He, Randy, and I had "interesting" road trips when farming was complete. We watch the catfish huddle around the bubbles created by the water running through the locks at Felsenthal one day. Drove all the way to Montecello another day JUST for lunch. We laughed alot mostly at him driving off while I was on the side of the road getting relief. We really enjoyed the time we attended church together at Greenacres.
Love,
Jeff

We had just moved to Frenchmans bend and Jimmy kept telling me he had a house warming gift for me. Not long after i come home to a toilet in my front yard with flowers in the bowl and a squirrel eating a corn cob on the tank. I knew immediately that was my gift. Too funny

In the overall scheme of things I didn't know Jimmy for a very long time but I did know him long enough to know that he was a kind, caring, and God loving man. I know that he cared deeply about his family and friends and would do whatever he could for those around him. He and Denise sat behind my wife and myself in church and was part of the same Sunday school class. He always had a smile and a kind, encouraging word and was genuinely concerned with you're well being and loved to make you laugh. Though I didn't know him long, I considered him a dear friend and more importantly a brother in Christ. Jimmy, my brother, you will be dearly missed.

My sincere sympathy to Jimmy’s wife and children and also to Mike, Don and Debbie. It was a pleasure to know him as a student at PVA and then see him occasionally afterward. He always had a special smile when greeting me and others. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

I am proud to call Jimmy my friend. We spent many hours together driving over his farms and discussing how he could improve his yields. Even after he retired from farming he would call me up to meet in Mer Rouge and we would drive over the farming community and have wonderful fellowship on farming practices. I will miss you Jimmy until we meet again in Glory. Terry Erwin
