Obituary of Andy Chappell

Funeral services for Mr. Andy Chappell will be held 10 AM Friday, July 6, 2018 at Crestview Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The visitation will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Crestview Baptist Church from 5PM until 7PM.

Andy, an army veteran, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the age of 32. He served in Iraq from 2004 until 2008 and was also a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Chappell loved his son and his family dearly. He will be missed by all who knew him. 

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Debby Chappell of Farmerville, LA; son, Drew Chappell of Farmerville, LA; sisters, Julie Croft and husband Steve of San Diego, CA, Sandy Gergen and husband Adam of San Diego, CA; uncles and aunts, Tommy and wife Lynn Jones of West Monroe, LA, Chris and husband Dan Cejka of Hot Springs, AR, Brent and wife Patsy Chappell of West Monroe, LA, Audrey and husband John Kroeger of San Diego, CA, Tammy Hunter of San Diego, CA, Becky and husband Allen Carlisle of San Diego, CA; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Chappell is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Linda Chappell and Bill and Helen Hilgeman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Jones, Brent Chappell, Richie Moore, Claude Hilton, Amy Price, and Sandy Gergen.
