Jane and family, I was so shocked and heart broken to hear of Alvin's passing. He was such a good guy and loved his family so much.
So proud to have called him friend and watched while he and Jane got closer and closer and then married.
Knowing him he is watching over his sweet family.
Just wanted to let yall know, I have been praying for yall.

Jane and family. I'm so sorry that Carol and I were not there today to let you know how we felt about Alvin.
We received word of Alvin's homegoing late today. I write this with a heavy heart. He was my friend former coworker and roommate in the 70s when we worked at the Farmerville Police Department. So many memories we had.
I know he will be missed but, as a Christian, we will see one another again.

Jane,
