Ms. Becky and Wendel I was deeply saddened to hear about the interruption in having Josh to be with. I say interruption because I know that Josh is waiting for y’all to be reunited again in heaven. The good died young in this instance. Same age as me and was a wonderful guy in school. Josh was definitely raised right and was a natural good soul the entire time I have known him. I am sadden to see if his passing and I pray for comfort for his family.

My prayers to Mrs. Becky and Mr. Wendell, Patrick and Brandon, Amanda, and all of the families and friends. I’m so very thankful to have been able to share memories with Josh from early in elementary school at Westside (I always wanted him on my kickball team) to High School at Bastrop High (Cheering on the Rams) to extending our friendship with double dating with Josh and Stacy, mud riding on 4-wheelers ( those are some funny stories), and the many trips to the ballpark. He was one that could always pull a joke with a straight face...I just couldn’t figure it out right away...or smile the biggest smile letting you know he loved the same way he smiled...BIG. He definitely loved his family, his friends, his kids (many kids whether playing ball or just cheering), his church, and his community. My heart hurts for the here and now, but my spirit says he’s better than he has ever been. May God bless you all with the good memories and blessing of having such a wonderful guy in our lives. Thank you Josh for showing us so much of what life is...love others, love yourself, and love BIG.

We are so sad for his loss. We loved so much and always will. He was such a good person and y’all were all such a supportive family and there watching him do what he loved to do. That says a lot and I know meant more to him than y’all could ever could imagine I’m sure. His body may not with us but his spirit will always be around and he will be with you always.
