Leah, I have just now saw this and am so sorry to learn of Bro. Mac's passing. I know you have had many months of his illness but know you still did not want to see him go. God is so great and one day you will be together. Bro. Mac was and will always be our pastor even tho we have had some in between. Know you and your family still mean so much to us. We love you.

I'm celebrating Bro. MAC'S entrance to Heaven but I know it will leave a hole in your hearts. My dad, Art Nelson Sr., and Bro. MAC grew up together in a small town in Mississippi and my dad had so much admiration for him and now they are praising God together. I look forward to the day we all see them again but until then I will pray for God's comfort for you.

Our prayers are with Bro. Mac’s family! Our hearts are broken, but rejoice for him. Mitch and I loved and appreciated Bro. Mac so very much. He was an amazing man of God. A life well lived! The ‘Jesus in him’ was so very evident in the way he lived his life and the way he loved his family and his congregation. We are honored to have known him! Praying especially for Mrs. Leah. We love you so much!

Dear Leah and Family: I am sure there were many gathered at the gates of Heaven to welcome Bro. Mac and I am sure God said "Well done, thy good and faithful servant." Bro. Mac always made everyone feel so loved and he exhibited the spirit of Christ in the way he ministered to others. My parents, Claude and Kate Pickett loved him dearly. May God give you sweet memories to comfort you!

Family, I just read the obit to my dad, Robert Allen Lee and we extend our sympathies to you. My dad and Bro. Mac graduated school in Petal, MS 1953 together. Another unique memory they shared was being in a quartet together back in High School years. Perhaps one of the most important connections is that four of those in that High School quartet went into fulltime ministry in SBC churches. Thankful for Bro. Mac's courage and faithful obedience to share Christ with others as he did and a wife and family who supported him and served as well.
May those of us who are left continue to carry the torch in the absence of this servant that Bro. Mac was. May God hold you all close during this time as we pray for you.
The Lee family.
