I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Henry. I worked as a marketer/sales manager at Savannah Court from 4/2016 - 8/2017. He and Mr. Jewel were 2 of my favorites. He used to ask me to order him things from Amazon.(vitamins, razors, etc.) He was amazed at how fast the items were shipped to him. Once, he saw an advertisement on TV about a high tech flashlight. He wanted that flashlight, so I googled until we found it. I wasn't sure why he needed that, since he was 95 years old and living in an assisted living - but he wanted it - so we ordered it. :) I remember that Easter when we had an Easter egg hunt and he found the golden egg in the mailbox, and when he got Mardi Gras King. I remember when his brother Bruin was in the nursing home and Mr. Henry and Mr. Jewel would sign out every day, put their walkers in the back of Mr. Henry's truck, and go visit Bruin. I thought the name Bruin was such cool name, that I told my kids that I liked it. My daughter liked it, also. On 1/10/2019 she had a son(my first grandchild) and she named him Bruin. :) I have gone back to visit the residents several times, since I stopped working there. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I have always thought of him as my ‘John Wayne’ look a like. I love John W because of my memories of my grandpa. I love his sweetness and beautiful eyebrows. My Pop brings his sweetness forward and I look forward to learning more about grandpa through his wonderful family.
