I didn't personally know Mr Book but I did know and attend school with his daughter, Lisa Book.
In school, Lisa, was a sweet person, always laughing, and always had a smile on her face. If Mr Book was anything like his daughter, I know he couldn't be love any more than he was because of his beautiful spirit.
The family is in my continuos prayers and have my deepest sympathy. I only pray that God will give the strength to carry on and cherish all the beautiful memories that you shared and are forever etched in your heart.
Sincerely,
Monica Smith #classof86

I remember back in the sixth grade George and I got into a tussle at recess at South Side elementary school. Teacher made us stay after school and put boxing gloves on and George preceded to whip my but. We became good friends after that experience. Rest In Peace my friend. John Risher

I have known George most of my life because his mother was my sister in law’s sister. We all know he was kind, caring, fun and he had a heart of gold! He served our country valiantly! To be an organ donor, which George was, sums it up. Prayers for comfort and finding peace in your present memories! Love his precious family! Shela Anderson Rosen
