Jim & I are in shock with the news of our dear friend's passing. No words can express the sorrow and love we feel for all of you. Friends for at least 30 years with lots of fun memories of all the VNVMC bike runs, SRMC Annual Parties and the Crawfish Parties at our house. There is LOTS of old photos and memories we treasure.
Joe, we love you and we are with you and your family always.
May you and the family feel the comfort of knowing Kathy is with you in Spirit and not really gone and in the arms of the Angels.
God's Blessings and Comfort to you all.
Our Love Always and Forever
Dollie & Jim (AKA: WFO)

Prayers to Joe, Mrs. Lilly, Penny, Harry and all the family. We rode the school bus together and I remember Kathy smiling and happy, friendly to everyone. I have been away from Bastrop several years, but have very fond memories of school days. Penny and I were close friends and I always enjoyed staying overnight. It was like having two sisters when I was there. Joe, Mrs. Lilly, Penny and Harry, may God's Peace comfort you.

I remember Kathy from riding the school bus in our younger years. I've been away from Bastrop for numerous years but we never forget those who made an impression on us through some kind gesture. Prayers and condolences to all her family.

To: Joe, Mrs. Lilly, Penny, Harry & family:
I was very saddened to hear the news about Kathy. My heart goes out to each of you. Your family is a great part of the Kilpatrick family history. I have many fond memories of the good times we had while growing up next door on Airport Rd. Kathy was the big sister, often a “supervisor.” I well remember watching her as she did the dating scene, with me looking forward to the days of becoming a teenager myself.
I well remember her courtship with Joe, as well as their wedding, which I attended. I also remember going over for a visit in celebration of the arrival of their firstborn, Jonette, who was the first grand baby for Mr.& Mrs. Lilly. These times are priceless.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts & prayers at this difficult time.
Love,
Jean

From the night of October 3,1985, when I walked in her door as a strange, young teenager that Jonette brought home, until the day she received her angel wings, this beautiful lady welcomed me in and treated me like I was a fourth daughter. For over 34 years, she was family and my heart breaks for all who loved her and those whose lives she touched. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and may God give you all strength, love and peace to get through the days and weeks to come and to know that even though she is with her Lord in heaven; in your heart, she is only a memory away. ❤️
