A private graveside service for Mr. Floyd L. “Femmey” McIntyre will be held in the Ashton-McIntyre family cemetery with Ashton McIntyre officiating.
Mr. McIntyre, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2020, at the age of seventy-nine. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. McIntyre was a mason for over thirty years and was a well decorated United States veteran in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children, Ashton McIntyre and wife Christy of Bastrop, LA; step-son, Scott Beach and wife Pamela of West Monroe, LA; sisters, Dorothy McWilliams, Doris Carruth, both of Bastrop, LA, Lois J. Evans of Wisner, LA, Jan Ellis of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Ashton Luke McIntyre, Anna Faith McIntyre, Alli Beach, Madeline Beach; uncle, Melvin McIntyre of Bastrop, LA; special friends, Walter and Margaret Moore, and Cordell and Gracie Dampier; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. McIntyre is preceded in death by his father, Jessie Lee “Dick” McIntyre and mother, Irene Ashton McIntyre.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Floyd L "Femmey"
