We are so saddened to hear of our dear Eloise passing, yet rejoicing with her and her family in her Faith.
She served as President and various other offices and capacities in our FAMILY HISTORY CLUB and faithfully as a member in attendance well into her Nineties. Also we are thankful for her labor of love in compiling the book of Morehouse Parish churches for our club even in her waning years. Always efficient, cheerful, , so "smart" , she dressed immaculately, a pleasure in our membership we treasure.
We wish to express our condolences to her family!
Pres. Holley

Oh Mrs Eloise, a Lovely Lady, a Beautiful memory in my mind. Happy for you gone to that place prepared just for you. Had thought just yesterday to call you to check on you this morning . So enjoyed our visit at Savannah Court sometime back. I was looking forward to that big birthday coming up.
Dear family, I treasured her friendship, and will be lifting you up in my prayers May God , the Comforter bless you with precious memories. I treasure mine!

I have many fond memories of walking over from Grandma Bama's house and visiting Aunt Eze. She also joined us for a week long cruise and it was all we could do to keep up with here.
She was a wonderful lady. I am sad that she has left us, but I am happy that she is back with her husband and her sister.

So sorry to hear... I worked with Eloise for many years in Bonita at city hall, and we attended Bonita Methodust Church together. She was so smart and a talented artist. I have one of her paintings hanging on my wall.

Aunt Eze was a woman ahead of her time in many ways. Back when most women still stayed at home, she was wearing suits and high heels and working in downtown Indianapolis in an office building. She worked up the ranks to become personal assistant of the CEO of a coal mining company. He was so impressed by her abilities that he asked her and Uncle Louis to manage the housing development in the Florida keys where he and many of his friends had vacation homes. They would make sure that the houses were stocked and ready for visitors, conduct the necessary maintenance and handle all the development's business affairs. Most of the time, they had the entire key to themselves, but during snow bird season they were busy. I always remember her to be so well dressed and groomed. She wore those heels until just a few years ago (though the heel was a little shorter). She never wanted anyone to make a fuss over her and she was almost overly concerned about putting others out. I will miss her smile and laugh.
