Obituary of Jesse Lee Walker

Mr. Jesse Lee Walker, a former resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020, at the age of eighty-one. He was a retiree of the Bastrop Police Department after 40+ years of service. Mr. Walker enjoyed hunting, fishing, race car events, and spending time with his family and friends. A private graveside service for Mr. Walker will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020, in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Toni Harper Walker; daughter, Gail Havens and husband Kenneth; brother, Donald Walker and wife Teresa; sister-in-law, Davie Sue Freeman and husband Dan; brother-in-law, Elwin Simon; grandchildren, Chad Havens and wife Jamie, Lorin Havens; great grandchildren, Dylan Havens, Madison Havens, Katelyn Havens; nephew, John Walker and family; niece, Donna Malbrough and family; niece, Sandy Zimmer and family; and numerous friends. Mr. Walker is preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Walker; and his parents, Robin Walker and Corine Hughes Walker.
