Being one of the 3 children of Seth, it pained me a ton. These past few years have been rough without him but it's going to be okay. Everything works out in the end. Him and me were big fans of Foo Fighters so every time he went to work at the church he would bring me with him. When we got in we would put "Learn to fly" by Foo Fighters on the speakers and we would just jam out before he went to work. Learn to Fly is still one of my favorite songs to this day and I promised myself to someday in the future go back and play it on the drums at that same location again. Rest in power man. Miss you.

An extraordinary candle for an extraordinary man of God and for the even extraordinary person you were Seth. I miss you. I'll miss you and I'll never forget you. So many memories to remember until we meet again in heaven. I will forever be grateful to you for the advice, long talks, and the things you have done for me even when I was at my lowest you never gave up on me even though I didnt see it then but I see it clearly now that you were always there and tried helping my stubborn butt in every way possible you could but you know how teenagers are and how I was as a teenager but anyways, I love you. The last text I had sent you was "Goodmorning. love you." On the morning of April 26, 2020 and I saw you read it and you finally saw all the texts I was sending you since everything happened last year to this month! You read them and you read that last text I sent you a couple or so days before you went home to Jesus! Also, I hope you liked that mcribbit joke I fowarded to you a few days after that. Go rest high on that mountain because your work on earth is done GO TO HEAVEN SHOUTING FOR THE FATHER AND THE SON! <3

I met Seth at Sleep Number (a mattress/bed store) one evening last year. I came in to the store and this sales guy started selling me right off. I was 60 and not in the mood for that so I said, don't sell me, just tell me about the beds. Then he pulls up a chair and wants to tell me a story. I said, No don't tell me a story, just tell me about the beds. He finally started telling me about the beds, and one thing led to another and we closed the mall down still talking a few hours later. We talked religion, politics, love, spirituality and it went deep. I learned he was a pastor making some extra money on the side. Turned out he and I had more in common than I would would have thought, he a baptist minister, me a spiritual-but-not-religious sort.
As I write this, tears come. I only met him that one time but we went to a deep place together, in our hearts. I called the store a few weeks later to bring my husband in - and they told me he'd gone into a coma and was in Shreveport. I couldn't believe it. I knew he had a young family, was young, it made no sense. Anyway, he has been in my thoughts off and on all this time, though we'd only met the once.
To Seth's family, I am so sorry for your loss, our loss. He was a special, deep, open, heartful young man and I was blessed to meet him.

Dora and I send you our prayers and sympathy. We are in disbelief at Seth's passing. However, we know he's with his Jesus whom he loved with all his heart. We have one more reason to make heaven our home, too. Tara (and family) you know you are loved. We were blessed to be your and Seth's pastors for many years, and we will never forget either of you. We trust our prayers will be felt daily as you continue on. You have the Holy Spirit's comfort in times like these. Through it all, we learn to trust in Jesus and depend on His Word.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Seth once when he came with Jace and Ady to homeschool group. He said our opening prayer and after just a few words I knew he was a man who was used to talking to God. We have prayed for Seth for a long time, but he doesn't need our prayers now. He is where we all long to be. Now we will turn our prayers toward Tara and the kids as they navigate this unimaginable loss. God bless them and comfort them!

I remember Seth teaching Gypsy children how to play Rock Paper Scissors in Romania! He was always looking for ways to connect with people even when they didn’t speak the same language. Seth will be missed!!!

Seth, you were one of my best friends. I’m so blessed that God gave me the chance to not only call you a friend, but a brother. My heart hurts thinking about what has happened, but I know God is still sovereign. I love you and will see you soon.

I first met Seth when he was a youth pastor at First Assembly of God in Bastrop.. Always had a smile on his face. If you know is 2 oldest kids at all, that's Seth. Outgoing, fun-loving , never meeting a stranger and cracking jokes. They are very much a product of their father. He will be missed. I look forward to seeing the kids at New Friendship when we get to go back and will ALWAYS be reminded of Seth..God Bless
