Mr. Woodrow N. “Woody” Burke, age 82 and a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020. A private visitation and funeral service will be held at Golden Funeral Home at a later date.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years (since 1955) Barbara A. Burke; children, Terasa Montgomery of Bastrop, LA, Victor Nathaniel Burke and wife Tollisa of Bismark, AR, Robert Gary Burke of Bastrop, LA; siblings, Maxie Burke of Lawton, OK, Tommy Burke of Orange, OK; grandchildren, Craig Montgomery, Shane Montgomery, Chase Burke, Miranda Burke Franco, David Lynn Burke, Robert “Butch” Burke, Robin Heath Burke and a host of great grandchildren.
Mr. Burke is preceded in death by parents, Woodrow Wilson and Bernice Burk and a brother, Ronnie Burk.
