I am so sorry for your loss. I understand the heartache you are feeling. I lost my son Zachary Voigt June18,2019. He was 30 years old and an operator out of Local 178. He loved the job he did and helped everyone in his path. We have to trust the Lord in His choice of time and know He takes the BEST first. My heart aches for you and your family for this journey will be difficult. But please know and try to understand he is in a much better place and he is at peace with our Father in Heaven.

Shannon & family,
We are so sorry to hear about Brent. It seems like only yesterday that him and Patrick were terrorizing the neighborhood. We used to call him bag-of-bones because he was so skinny. Him and Patrick were very close and he's going to miss him very much. We will be praying for all of you. R.I.P. Brent

I want to offer my deepest condolences to Brent’s family and loved ones. Over the last few years Brent has become a dear friend of mine and like a brother. From the trip to San Antonio and riding limes scooters with my family, to the time we dragged up on a job and made a trip down the west coast through Washington, through the Red Wood Forrest, then to all the way to Southern California. Brent could light the room with his great spirit and funny jokes. He was well respected at work. He was dedicated, hard working, and passionate. He was very dependable and someone I felt comfortable leaving to lead the team when needed. He made it fun to be at work. We looked forward to going to work to see what Brent would say today. Many of the crew looked up to Brent. I remember trading early quits to make trips to the dry cleaners to pick up our starched jeans. I can see him now, showing up to work sharply dressed and ALWAYS in a polo shirt of course. He had the utmost respect and love for his Nannie and children, and spoke of them often. He also frequently spoke of his father and the times they would spend in Jersey and North Carolina. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. All we can do is hold on to the good memories!
