My deepest sympathy to Danny and all the family. I’m sad to learn of her passing. I worked In the office with Jeannine many years @IPCo in Bastrop. Not only was she my colleague, but she & Buford became my good friends, and their kindnesses were appreciated. Jeannine was a smart lady in everything she did... her work, quilting, gardening. Most of my colleagues at “Single Service/Liquid Pkg” have passed away, but my good memories of Jeannine & all of them will remain In my heart forever. Rest In Peace, my friend.

Mrs, Jeannine was a very sweet lady. She worked with my dad, Calvin Thomas,at IP - Single Service Division for many years. Living close to us in Bastrop, we visited and was warmly welcomed. Mr. Buford and Ms. Jeannine loved sharing vegetables and stories. Sympathy to her family she loved so very much and who loved her. Carol Thomas Phillips

I only knew Jeannine during the last few years of her life when she moved next to her nephew, Lamar, in Summerfield, FL, but I will certainly miss her. She was feisty, and I'm sure she was a force to be reckoned with during her lifetime, but she had a loving heart. I enjoyed hearing stories of her childhood, her marriage to Buford, her work, quilting guild projects, and her athletic adventures. I didn't realize women were so involved in sports at the time of her youth. You go girl! She was proud of the projects her quilt guild did to raise money for children. She always joked that she was somehow tied to a church -- having lived next to & selling her house to a church and then living on church grounds in Georgia. Lamar, our deepest sympathy to you. We know you did all you could do to make her life comfortable. You were her rock and you know she loved you very much. Our sympathies to the rest of her family also. May she rest in peace with her beloved Buford.
