Obituary of Diane Rea

Funeral services for Mrs. Diane Rea, age 75, are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, January 4, 2021, at Tillou Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Edwards and Bro. Casey Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Tillou Baptist Church Cemetery. Diane, a member of Bonita Road Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was a valued employee of the Morehouse Parish School System for a number of years, holding various job titles. She was a sunshine Aide for Lagniappe Rehab nursing home. She really enjoyed contributing to the happiness and well being of all the residents. She was a dedicated and active member of Tillou Baptist Church for many years. She would have been remembered most for her strong Christian values. She is known for her love of Jesus Christ and complete devotion to the love of her life Alfred L. Rea, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Alfred “Al” Rea, sons, Jason Lee Rea and wife Christy, Craig Everett Rea and wife Misty; siblings, Carolyn Hays and husband Maxie, Everett Plummer, Brenda Bulloch and husband Donnie; grandchildren, Kolbie Rea, Christopher Wallace and wife Nikki, Brooklyn Rea, Parker Rea; great grandchildren, Jason Craig “JC” Joiner, Remi Joiner, Kaitlyn Dombrowski, Laycee Dombrowski and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International in care of Morehouse Gideons, P.O. Box 1209, Bastrop, LA 71221. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Plummer, Jr. and Pauline Everett Plummer. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Bulloch, Parker Rea, Christopher Wallace, Scott Diel, Seth Bulloch and Charlie Wilson.
