We all have beautiful memories of the Aunt Mattie Opal hidden within us. A glimpse back in time, to childhood, to stories we heard all our lives. My Mom, is number 4 and Mattie Opal was number 5. Childhood’s spent side by side but also marriage and children right behind. “Spirit to spirit and heart to heart, sisters forever together and apart” Mattie Opal stood tall amongst us all. Mattie Opal will live inside us all, with memories, “Memories of our loved ones are worth cherishing, for they are the only ones that survive anything”. We love you Gal.
