Dean and I worked together at Red River Army Depot for a number of years. We got to talking fishing and that led to us going fishing together which turned into a great friendship. We mostly bass fished Millwood Lake in Arkansas. Dean was more familiar with Millwood and he showed me a number of good spots to fish. We had several good trips and caught lots of bass. This ended when Dean moved to take a better job. Didn’t get to see him for a number of years until he came and spent a couple of days with me. We catfished Lake Wright Patman and caught some catfish. Saw him one more time a couple of years ago when Stan brought him to my trailer at Kelly Creek Marina and we got to visit for a couple of hours. He was a good friend and will miss him. Thank you so much for your sweet memories, Dean thought do much of you. He was always talking about ya'lls fishing trips. I also remember home bring home some of your famous home- made fish bait. I don't know how anything with eat that stuff. Dean & I were married 62 years & it so hard to know that he is gone. At least I know where he is ,& that gives me some comfort. I miss him so much & it hadn't been a month.

I remember a couple years ago we were able to talk dad into going on a cruise. He was very reluctant saying he looked at enough water while stationed on an island Well I think he actually enjoyed the family cruise. We would meet up at the buffet every morning. I asked him if he had a good time and he said yes but it sure was a lot of walking. I will miss him so much. His love for God and family will always be an influence to me I also joined the Air Force because of him. He was the best dad anyone could ask for I thank God for blessing me with wonderful parents
