Obituary of Robert Dean Price

Funeral service for Mr. Robert Dean Price are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff May officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Price was a member of White Avenue Baptist Church and a man of God. He loved the Lord and served his Lord faithfully as a deacon for many years. He married the love of his life on Christmas Day 1958. Mr. Price served his country in the United States Air Force and continued his service as a civil servant as Director of Information Management for the U.S. Army, serving a total of thirty-nine years. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Elizabeth Ann Lewis Price; children, Pamela Ann Price North Griffin and husband Stan, Rodney Dean Price, Elizabeth Dawn Price Fredieu and husband Michael Shane; grandchildren, William McKinley North, Lucy Elizabeth Fredieu; nieces, Sharon Norris Hammond, Diana Norris Dew and other numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Price is preceded in death by his father, Matt Price; mother, Della Price; step-mother, Orpha Price; father and mother-in-law, William Henry and Lucille Lewis; sister, Ruby Norris; brothers, Virgil Price, J.R. Price and Ralph Price. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
